Croatian Association for Reality Therapy (HURT)

Croatian Association for Reality Therapy (HURT) was founded in 1987 to promote the ideas of Choice Theory, whose author is an American psychiatrist, Dr William Glasser (1925-2013), and to promote its practical application in therapy work (Reality Therapy), leadership (Lead Management) and education (Glasser Quality School). HURT actively participates in the promotion of the nation’s mental health through different projects. It actively promotes and organizes training programs in Reality Therapy and works closely with EIRT, whose faculty board also includes certified faculty members from Croatia. In addition, HURT offers different applicable programs for the general public and supervision for Reality Therapy counsellors and therapists as well as other experts in social care, education, health and law. The section of RT therapists is also its successful part. HURT is the constituent member of the Association of Croatian psychotherapy societies (SPUH) and thus a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), as well as a member of the European Association for Reality Therapy (EART), thus belonging to the William Glasser International global organisation.
